FROM THE LOWEST EARNER TO THE HIGHEST EARNER ON THE SHOW (MAIN CHARACTERS JOBS)

It may be only a just assumptions but its based on multiple factors, like each main character's field, education level and what kinds of achievements they get done; then we rank them from the lowest to the highest earner on the show.

Stuart: Comic Book Store Owner <$30,000.

Throughout the show, Stuart has been always in a very hard position financially and trying so hard to keep his store up running, even after it got burned. But in the last seasons Stuart's financial struggles start to fade a little but after the tragedy it hard to say that he has a lot of cash left.

Penny: Cheesecake Factory Waitress $30,000.

Penny on the other hand, was struggling with her job and she was jumping from a job to another, but the job that paid the least is a cheesecake factory, which was the very first job that we found Penny in (at the first Episode).

Emily: Dermatology Resident $60,000.

Even if Emily is not a main character in the big bang theory, there’s no doubt that she took a big part to play on the Show. As a dermatology resident at Huntington Hospital, and taking her higher education into consideration, we can assume that she has a salary right around $40,000- $70,000.

Amy: Neurobiologist $80,000.

The Neurobiologist Amy Farrah Fowler, a real scientist actor. She joined the group in the 3rd season. A Harvard graduate, and we were always seeing her in the laboratory, so we can’t exactly determine her salary, especially when it's unclear whether she is working for another university or not, so we only put $80,000 into her name.

Leonard: Experimental Physicist $100,000.

He went to Princeton University to be a research scientist at Caltech. He took a different path than his mother (neuroscientist and psychologist). Seeing the work that he did and the project that he was in charge of, (like, publishing word-renowned papers, Military classified rocket fuel project). We can say that Leonard is earning a lot of money.

Raj: Astrophysicist $105,000.

Raj’s career really took off after his discovery of a planet, with Penny's help of course and he somehow got included in people’s magazine. And after he agreed on taking another job in a really popular university. So it's good to assume that Rajesh Koothrappali is making more than six figures.

Howard: Aerospace Engineer $125,000.

Howard’s job, and his achievements, plus what kind of responsibilities he was in charge of. We can really assume that he was earning a lot of money.

As Engineer in this field, Howard's job includes Designs, building various aircraft, satellites, spacecraft, and even missiles. However, Howard didn’t stop right there, He also got the chance to work at space and in charge of Driving the mars rover. Giving Howard a $100k, it's underpaid, so we assumed that he is making a lot more.

Bernadette: Microbiologist $125,000+

With such a higher education, (Ph.D in microbiology) allowed Bernadette to get a high-level paid job at a pharmaceutical company. We don’t know what is the exact position she has in the company or what kind of role she does. The only thing we can assume is she is definitely making more than $100k and she get paid more than her husband Howard Wolowitz. (As she is always making sure he didn't forget that.)

Penny: Pharmaceutical Sales Rep $145,000

Penny was really struggling financially at the start but after leaving her acting career, she got a position at Zangen, thanks to Bernadette. She was able to get paid more than Leonard in her first year. And that after taking the commission and bonuses plus her salary into consideration of course.

Sheldon: Theoretical Physicist $150,000+

The highest paid salary in the group and the smartest guy in the show, Winning a Nobel prize and devoting his life for science, is really paying off for Sheldon's hard work. A junior professor earn around $150K, and after winning the Nobel prize Sheldon's income will certainly be increased. In fact the Nobel prize winners receive approximately one million dollar.
